For over 30 years, Julie has engaged and connected with audiences through her work on stage, film, television, voiceover, audiobooks and educational endeavors. In conversations with professionals outside the theater world, dissatisfaction and a lack of confidence with person to person communication skills is a surprisingly common refrain.

Out of this pressing need, Julie founded Center Stage Connections.  With individual and small group sessions, Julie shares the skills she uses as an actor and in her daily life, for deeper personal investment, better engagement and more lasting connections.

Center Stage Connections was born from a desire to address an unmet need among professionals to share the lessons learned about confidence and connection on the stage to help clients excel on their own personal and professional stage.

Julie’s recent clients include Willis Towers Watson, Expedia, The 28 Days Project, Metarhytm, Noodle Partners,  RAliance Communications, KWM Communications, Argot Partners, the Posse Foundation, and many private clients preparing for speaking engagements.

Each session shares the methods, tips, and techniques an actor uses that directly align with key communications skills required of a business person, at any phase of their career.  Julie asks her clients to, “take a small leap of faith, and think of yourself as an actor on the business stage, and consider your phone calls, lunches, meetings, and presentations as your stage.” Participants come away with concrete skills they can immediately implement in their professional and personal lives for more memorable connections.

When she’s not working with business people, Julie comes up with creative ways (like backyard movie nights) to get her teenagers off their phones and engaged with other humans.  You can find more about light-hearted bits and pieces on Instagram, FB, and Twitter @cstageconnect.
